Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By reserving a place with Taste of México, guests agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. The Experience

Taste of México offers a private, six-day culinary journey through San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, México. Each week is limited to a maximum of eight (8) guests and includes all meals, tastings, transfers, and activities specified in the week's itinerary.

3. Pricing

Total price: $4,900 USD per person. All prices are in US Dollars.

4. Reservation & Deposit

A deposit of 30% of the total price ($1,470 USD per person) is required to secure a place. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances and is retained as a cancellation penalty regardless of when or why the guest cancels.

5. Balance Payment

The remaining balance (70%, $3,430 USD per person) must be paid in full no later than 120 days before the start of the guest's week.

6. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are accepted up to 120 days before the start of the week. In that case, all payments made toward the balance are refunded in full; the deposit is never refunded.
• Cancellations requested less than 120 days before the start date are not eligible for any refund, as this is also the final payment deadline — by then the full amount is due and the week is locked in.
• If Taste of México cancels a week for internal reasons, guests receive a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, or may transfer to another available week.

7. Transfers & Substitutions

Reservations may be transferred to another person, provided Taste of México is notified in writing as early as possible.

8. Travel Insurance

Not required, but strongly recommended. Taste of México is not responsible for medical expenses, trip interruptions, lost belongings, or cancellations that travel insurance would typically cover.

9. Health & Dietary Requirements

Guests must disclose allergies, dietary restrictions, or relevant health conditions at booking via concierge@tasteofmexicoexp.com. Reasonable accommodations are made, not guaranteed.

10. Liability & Release

Participation involves inherent risks: knife use, open flame, and hot surfaces during cooking sessions; uneven or cobblestone terrain during city, market, and ranch visits; alcohol tastings (mezcal, tequila, wine); and general travel-related risk. Each guest voluntarily assumes these risks.

Taste of México, its owners, employees, chefs, and third-party vendors are not liable for injury, illness, loss, theft, or property damage during the experience, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Taste of México may modify the itinerary at any time for weather, safety, or other circumstances. Every guest signs a written acknowledgment of these risks on arrival, in addition to accepting these terms at booking.

11. Governing Law

Governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Disputes resolved in the courts of Guanajuato, México.
